My Experience of Changing my Name

• My father`s name was spelled like "Wrujalal,Wrijalal,Wrijalal- forget it all now , it should be spelled like VRAJLAL  only hence forth.

  NOW, I am B.V GANATRA and not B.W GANATRA as per GAZETTE of Gujarat Government.

  First of all, I approached to the NOTARY PUBLIC for making an Affidavit for correct Spelling of father's name. 

  Then affidavit with the FORM of name change was to be published in GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE sent to GOVERNMENT PRESS, RAJKOT.

  It took a long six months time to publish in the Gazette.  

  MORAL : Always be aware & confirm whether you are correctly being spelled by people around you.
